You never let them walk way from what they borrow
until they're gone of ghosts we are afraid
we will become them in our chains
with no past to claim due to sorrow
tomorrows' dead and we let it go to waste
now we swallow all the blame
and let them be the same as the hollow promise made
so let them be afraid
you're under the spell
drowning in fear
what are you now?
in the hole going down
as above so below
it happens all the time
cant sustain under this heavy load
never blossoms in your mind
every plateau is a volcano
makes you wonder how many signs you've missed
saw the world over your shoulder
and yes these wolves travel in packs
but you'll grow smarter as you grow older
don't damn it all the day is young
those stolen moments under the bridge
desolation cast to wander on
unlock the puzzle pieces of the pie
some things are better left alone
all things decay it's in the air
fall like trees we come and go till were gone
gone daddy gone already gone
watching the walls fall upon us
slaves master rage spill blood on the page
cages they rumble as minds cave
it's bone against bone face it your own
another star death another one is born
spawned by the sword they became lords
before it's too late someone should pull the chord
hex round the neck gasping the air you were born to breath
doom factors doom in your heart there's no room
do you feel like there's something you were meant to do
your crutch Midas touch eternal crux
it's hard to have soul when you're mortal
today is your day to sleight their game
bring down the power of thunder
graves begin to shake mountains they quake
call on the flame turn it to ash
eyes that are burning with freedoms reign
now you're kneeling at the gallows
these wounds are far too deep to moan
now you looked death right in the eye
and told him you're not afraid to die
the poison dripping on your tongue
the brazen blade no longer painful
so let it go the broken arrow just let it go
it happens all the time
cant sustain under this heavy load
never blossoms in your mind
every plateau is a volcano
God these guy's rock. Had the other two albums, came to this late, but wow, such an album. Love the raw "live" sound, each song is heavy and groovy with the right amount of soul in it. Need to see these live. thehairybadger26
This just has some great vibes all around - from the energy of 56th Floor and Symphony of the ironic sympathy to the gentle, laid back Soul Keeper - it’s worth the time to listen to it all. potaytoes
